About This Site
Please read this first. A publication that previously used this domain is no longer active. This site is not a continuation of it. We are not affiliated with that publication, with its owners, or with anyone who wrote for it. None of its content appears here. Everything on this site is new material written by us.
Who maintains antiagingpress.org
This domain became available after it expired. Aging Well Guide maintains it now.
We kept the domain online rather than letting it go dark because people still follow links to it. Instead of leaving those visitors at a dead page, we publish careful, plain language articles on the general theme of aging well: skin, hair, and everyday health.
What this site is
- A small library of free educational articles.
- Written by us, in our own voice, and edited before it is published.
- Based on general medical consensus, with the limits of the evidence stated plainly when the evidence is weak.
- Written to send you to a qualified professional when that is the right answer, including dentists, dermatologists, and physicians.
What this site is not
- It is not medical advice, and it is not a substitute for a consultation.
- It does not diagnose or treat any condition.
- It does not republish, host, or represent the work of the former publication or of any of its former authors.
Older links to this domain
Some old addresses on this domain still receive traffic from other websites. Where the topic of an old address is clear, we have written our own article on that topic and placed it there. Where the old page was about a specific person or a specific author's proprietary material, we serve a short notice instead. We do not reproduce anyone else's work.
How we write
We aim for short sentences and ordinary words. Where a claim is well supported, we say so. Where it is not, we say that too, including when the honest answer is that nobody knows. If we get something wrong, we would like to fix it.
Corrections
We would like to fix anything we get wrong. Corrections are made on the page itself, and the change is noted there.
